Privacy Policy

Biz Invest ("we") is a consulting firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and management and strategy consulting. This Privacy Policy describes how we process the information we receive in the context of providing our services, in compliance with Law No. 13,709/2018 (General Data Protection Law — LGPD). The privacy practices described herein apply equally to both areas of operation.

1. What Data We Process

We do not collect data through forms, registrations, or website logins. The information we process is voluntarily sent by our clients and counterparties during a project, via email or WhatsApp (and occasionally, physical copies), such as: contact details, corporate, financial, and operational information of companies, documents related to buying and selling operations, and other information necessary for analyses and negotiations.

2. How We Use This Data

We process data for the exclusive purpose of enabling the provision of our M&A, management, and strategy consulting services, including conducting analyses, leading negotiations, and supporting clients on operation-related matters, even after its conclusion (post-closing).

3. Sharing

We do not commercialize data. Sharing occurs only when necessary for project execution and within the trust relationship inherent to our activities — for example, with the counterparty of a negotiation, advisors involved in the operation, or strictly necessary service providers — always limited to what is essential for the purpose.

In the context of M&A operations, we may transmit our clients' information to potential investors or target companies. Such transmission always occurs after the signing of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) between the client and the investor or target company, in order to safeguard the confidentiality of the shared information.

Whenever an operation we conduct is completed and made public — through registration with the Commercial Registry, the client's own press release, or other forms of disclosure — we may inform third parties, via tombstones, websites, market announcements, and similar materials, that we acted as advisors for the respective operation. In such disclosures, we will not reveal details that remain confidential, such as price, payment method, guarantees, and other non-publicized conditions.

4. Storage and Security

Information is stored in a cloud environment. We adopt reasonable measures to protect data against unauthorized access. We keep archived project records, given the possibility that they may be useful for consultation or for continued post-closing support to clients.

5. Data Subject Rights

In accordance with the LGPD, data subjects may request information about data processing, as well as the correction, update, or deletion of their data, subject to legal exceptions. Requests can be made through the channels listed below.
